Bonnie Greenball Silvestri, J.D.
Bonnie Silvestri is the Ethics and Compliance Specialist for Sarasota County. Most recently, she was the Director of Strategic Communications for the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships for the University of South Florida.
She previously served as Senior Fellow for Arts, Culture, and Civic Engagement for the Institute for Public Policy and Leadership at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. She has taught undergraduate courses in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at USFSM since 2007. In 2015, Bonnie received the statewide Graham-Frey Civic Award from Florida Campus Compact for her achievements in her work in civic engagement.
Before moving to Florida, Bonnie was the founding executive director of the Judicial Campaign Ethics Center of the New York State Unified Court System, which provides ethics advice to judicial candidates and develops the Judicial Voters Guide. Prior to working with the state court system, she served as special counsel to the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board, where she advised and trained hundreds of public officials and employees.
Irene is a retired Verizon executive, a lifelong Tampa resident, corporate leader, community volunteer and mother. In her most recent role, she worked with local and state government leaders, supported economic development and managed a portion of the company’s philanthropic budget. Irene also serves as a U.S. Senate appointee to the Military Academies Board that is responsible for selecting annual military academy appointees.
Marilynn is a past president of the League of Women Voters of Florida. She has held various leadership positions on the League Board of Directors for many years and has been at the helm of the League Lobby Corps as Action Chair. Marilynn is a former teacher of high school mathematics and coached boys’ and girls’ cross country teams.
Mike is the Assistant City Attorney for the City of St. Petersburg and one of the founders of Integrity Florida. Prior to joining the City, he was in private practice. Mike has a master’s degree in environment studies from Brown University and, before entering law school, he worked as an environmental consultant.
Dan Krassner serves as the political director for Represent.Us, a nationwide campaign of conservatives, progressives and everyone in between, working together to fix America’s corrupt political system. Dan is a veteran political strategy and communications executive. He led the successful campaign to pass America’s first Anti-Corruption Act in Tallahassee, Florida in 2014. He co-founded Integrity Florida, a nonpartisan research institute and government watchdog group. Dan also served as Chief Strategy and Communications Officer for the Florida Chamber of Commerce, and Vice President of Communications at Florida TaxWatch. Previously, he was director of a leading global public relations and communications firm.
Mike Hill was elected to the Florida State Legislature in June 2013 – Nov 2016. He served District 2 which includes the city of Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key and Gulf Breeze.
Mike Hill began his professional career as a State Farm Agent in Fort Walton Beach, FL in July 1990. Prior to becoming an agent, Mike was a Captain in the US Air Force for ten years after graduating from the US Air Force Academy in 1980. He was selected as the Company Grade Officer of the Year in 1988 while stationed at Eglin AFB, FL. Also, while on active duty, Mike earned a MBA from the University of West Florida in 1988. Mike was presented with an honorary Doctor of Humanities from Pensacola Christian College in 2015.
Mike has served on several boards in his community including United Cerebral Palsy, YMCA, Children in Crises, Tiger Bay Club and West Florida Hospital. He serves on the national AMIkids Executive Council.
Mike has been married to the former Greta Fields for the past 34 years and has three children: Joshua, 24; Jessica, 22 both students at University of West Florida; and Jonathan, 20 who is serving in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoys reading, jazz and classical music, and sailing.
